Taihu Midi Day 2

 

 

The first day at Taihu Midi was a muddy mess, day two was the complete opposite, with the scorching sun burning everything in site. Luckily there was a swimming pool at the venue for visitors to play in.

 

 

Just like the first day, the day started off with Electronic music at both stages.

 

 

 

After the electronic music was finished at the grass stage, it was then time for rock and metal. First up was the German band “The Ignition.” They played mostly hard rock and were pretty good.

The biggest disappointment for the festival was the cancellation of  “Sick of it All” who were unable to obtain their visa to enter and perform in China.

 

 

Replacing “Sick of it All” was the hardcore Chinese band 颠覆M乐队. They brought their own unique group of fans with them who love to mosh, crowd surf and basically just go crazy. It was a huge disappointment that “Sick of it All”could not make the show but 颠覆M乐队 did their best to make sure that people were having fun.

 

 

 

 

 

At the end of the night, it was a fun day with lots of good music. The final day is tomorrow with “Children of Bodom” closing the rock part of the show. It should be fun, or at least I hope so.
